Board game rules topic



  • I mostly made this for a RTP board game I made in sandbox. You can post yours here too if you want.  :uglylaugh:

    General

    • 4 classes - caster(10 HP/25 mana), warrior(20 HP), crafter(10 HP), dragoon(10 HP/15 mana).

    • The caster can only cast 9 spells - Fire Bomb, Sun Beam, Shock, Push, Deathdudu Ray, Teleport To Target, Haste, Slow, and Heal.

    The dragoon can either cast Sun Beam or Fly(move 8 squares instantly, -1 square each time you turn left/right. Cannot cast with flag. 5 turn cooldown. Costs 10 mana.)

    • You cannot move or cast a spell into or past a non-existent square.

    • Game plays like a game of CTF. 3 caps to win.

    • Each class can move (3 squares a move, 1 square up a hill) and [Caster/Dragoon] cast a spell, [Crafter] build/repair something (2 HP), [Warrior] slash in one of the 8 directions. (each slash takes 3 HP from target)

    • If you die, you respawn after 3 turns on your team’s square. Killing yourself via your own spell makes you respawn in 5 turns.

    • Casters and Dragoons regenrate 1 mana per turn.

    Spells
    Fire Bomb (20 mana) - Hit for 6 hp in a 3x3 area, 5 squares away from the caster. Takes a turn to explode.
    Sun Beam (10 mana) - hit for 4 hp in a 3x3 area, 3 squares away from the caster.
    Shock (5 mana) - hit for 1 hp in all 8 squares around you. Can cast multiple times in the same turn.
    Push (5 mana) - push all players 1 square away, +1 square per additional same-turn casting. Can cast multiple times in the same turn.
    Death Ray (15 mana) - instantly kill the first person in a line in any of the 8 directions. 25% chance of hitting. If you don’t hit, the beam goes on to the next guy behind and the cycle repeats.
    Teleport to Target (5 mana) - can cast in same turn, but ends your turn. Move 2 squares immediately.
    Haste (10 mana) - can cast on friendlies. Provides one additional square of movement to whoever it is casted on.
    Slow (5 mana) - lasts 2 turns and raises Death Ray hit chance to 50%. Reduces enemy movement by 2 squares.
    Heal (2 mana) - Provides the caster or friendly target with +1 health. Can cast multiple times in the same turn.

    Craftables
    Wall - Enemies and friendlies cannot move into that square. 15 HP.
    Spawn - spawn at that location instead of next to your flag spot. 5 HP.
    Turret - Hit nearby enemies for 1 HP per turn. 10 HP.
