    • One-life and Half-life punishments now reduce maximum health as well.

    • Zombies can now see human and zombie health in the scoreboard but humans only see the zombie side’s death count.

    • Fixed the fear meter not reducing the damage of all damage types.

    • Reduced the fear meter’s maximum power per zombie from 25% to 10%.

    • Nails get less useful to repairing 50% faster.

    • All zombies that previously did DMG_GENERIC now do DMG_SLASH.

    • Poison Zombie melee now deals 75% slashing damage and 25% poison damage instead of 100% slashing damage.

    • Increased all zombie speeds by about 6%.

    • Increased Poison Zombie melee damage from 45 to 48.

    • Increased Head Crab pounce damage from 4 to 5.

    • Increased Fast Zombie melee damage from 7 to 8.

    • Total damage for Poison Headcrab damage over time is now 58 instead of 40.

    • Increased Poison Headcrab pounce damage from 5 to 10.

    • Increased Poison Headcrab damage vs. non-organic entities from 25 to 30.

    • Increased Poison Headcrab number of damage ticks from 7 to 12.

    • Decreased Poison Headcrab damage tick time from 2 seconds to 1 second.

    • Decreased Poison Headcrab damage over time from 5 per tick to 4 per tick.

    • Wraith visibility is now also affected by distance as well as speed. A wraith that is a good distance away won’t be able to be seen even if they’re moving at full speed.

    • Most strong melee attacks disorient humans. Similar to the fast zombie pounce but a bit less dramatic.

    • Headcrab and Fast Zombie pounce attacks no longer hit other zombies.

  • I guess this means no more zombie cannons via fasty



  • The only change that was needed was the nail nerf. The poison headcrab and normal headcrab buff seem a bit much.

  • Good to see zombies getting a little more damage. By any chance did the dmg_slash add blood spatters/hits when something is hit now? Like if you hit a wall, a mark will appear?

    CMasta has a good point there… If you are using a sledge hammer you are still probably going as slow as normal zombies.

    I beg to differ

    zombie speed was 135 units per sec

    old sledge was 185

    new sledge is 150

    now new zombie is 140

    still a small difference
