ZS - hammer point gain.

  • The feature to gain points for healing nails with a hammer isn’t a viable option currently.

Inside a barricade, it basically only comes in 2 types.

    1. The barricade sees few zombies so they’re all killed before reaching the barricade and if not killed before then, they’ll get one or two hits in. It could take several minutes just to heal up 1 point.

    2. The barricade is completely being bashed in by zombies and no way in hell will those nails heal in time to hold them off, even with multiple hammers.

In addition, the nailer puts himself in a very undesirable location and is pretty much one less gun against the zombies because you sacrifice a large portion of your points to play support.

Yet again the person who buys a hammer is crippled because the barricades usually wont be attacked until wave 2-3, when people are already on their t2-t3 weaponry and they’ll be slow to catch up if at all. On top of the danger of having to hump a cade to heal it as well as how weak the nails and/or healing is, it’s more of a viable option to spawn with great weapons and take a hammer that spawns on the map or off a dead person to nail a cade together then blow away any zombie that tries to get in.

  • So the suggestion is… ? I really don’t see a problem with the hammer, it’s not like its meant to gain tons of points. Even if you were able to infinitely heal a barricade you would only make about 5 points a minute.

  • Nothing beats picking up a full hammer on Wave 1 to complement a medkit + peashooter, or vice versa.

  • How about a simpler solution: get one point per 50 nail health rather than one point per 100 nail health.

the suggestion is that point gain should be greater because it currently isn’t worth getting in harm’s way just to heal a nail.

if it wasn’t meant to get you points, then it wouldn’t have point gain in the first place. besides, trying to fight off a horde standing in front of you just wont work well with a t1 gun.

  • Shoot, repair, shoot, repair, shoot, lose a nail, repair, lose a nail, find a better barricade.
