Question on Aegis and Hammer



  • If i have a moving boat (like in my canal map)
    Will anything nailed move as the boat moves and stay in place?
    Same goes for aegis.

    Cause the boat needs to be used for a objective and you may want a barricade

  • You can download the released ZS 2.0x to test hammer and aegis on your map.

    In short, aegis boards are props_phys with motion disabled.  They can only be used world brushes, func_details, and static prop collision meshes.  Aegis boards never move.

    Hammer nails only work on physic props and physics brushes.  They must be nailed to another physic prop/brush or static world geometry like those required by aegis boards.  (materials like glass can’t be nailed)



  • And i remember they are frozen.

    Well then can Jet make it so that if props are nailed or a board is placed, it will search to see if its nailed to moving geometry and therefore parent itself with that geometry until destroyed/broken
    ?
