[ZS] Clientside ghost of rotation prop



  • As an european with 200 ping, rotating a prop is slow as fuck because the feedback you get is delayed.

    A suggestion is that when you hold a prop a clientside prop will be made with a blue-ish transparent ghost. The server prop will simply followed two networked vars “position” and “rotation” sent to the server by the client.

    The feedback of the “intended” position is instant and you no longer have to wait for the server to rotate the prop in order to get feedback.



  • Sometimes rotating deployables like turrets are hard to be precise too, they keep rotating for a short while after you stop. not sure if for the same reason.
