[ZS] 'Stinger' Zapper



  • ‘Stinger’ Zapper

    Zapper - Zaps zombies that get near it. Deals about 25 damage but instantly kills headcrabs. Needs recharging after each zap. Will always zap the weakest zombie in the case that there are multiple targets. Can be destroyed and doesn’t have much health.

    This is in a similar vein to the ‘Sentinel’, as the family of emitter deployables. This is a deployable that consumes 2 pulse ammo every 4 seconds but only if a zombie is within range, in order to deal damage to zombies witin proximity. It deals 25 damage but will instantly kill headcrabs, prioritizing them. It’s a frail structure with only 75 health, so keeping it safe from poison is important.

    Notes

    • Works similarly to the crowbar - you only get 25 damage worth of points from headcrabs, but they die instantly.

    • Stores 150 pulse ammo providing 5 minutes of usage.

    • Pulse ammo can be placed in the zapper much like a turret via E.

    • Has a small particle effect to denote recharge status.

    • You can injure yourself with it, Egocentric might be useful.

    • Slows zombies somewhat.

    This could also be attached to turrets making them pulse turrets, works exactly like the blast turret distance and rate-of-fire wise but slows the target down, also increasing the damage from the omnidirectional zapper

    For both cases you could just deploy it on top of the Drone or Turret to transform it instead of crafting
