    After 6 months, and some redesigns, it’s ready
    Special thanks to dissident (optimization, map idea) and Madden (pointing out some issues).

    [header] Map Features [/header]

    • A slightly abandoned office themed map (hence the name)

    • Players must retrieve the ball from the upper level, going up the staircases

    • Speedball is located in the yellow coated hallways on both sides of the map (Lasts for 6.5 seconds)

    • 2 goals: You can either walk into the enemy boss’s room and sit on his chair or go outside and make a well aimed shot through the moving ring for 2 points (similar to Cosmic’s ring)

    • Inside the teams’ goal rooms there are open windows where teammates can pass from the outside areas for a well-aimed pass, or for a reset by the defending teams.

    • Added arrow decals signaling players towards the ball spawn. (to give the confused ones directions on where to go, if they would look.)

  • Just did a quick overview of the map, and have a few things to mention.
    The layout is great, and I like the use of ambient sounds to give the map more immersion. The option of having more than one way to score is also a big plus, since most of the preexisting maps don’t. However, I did spot various things that you should consider, but don’t necessarily break the map’s core gameplay (images will be at the end of the list):

    1. Have you built your cube maps correctly? Many surfaces that use reflections seem to have missing cube maps when specular shading is enabled. (Figure 1).
    2. You may want to re-size your skybox, or simply add a player clip face to fix an issue with players being able to see a a no draw surface behind the spawns (Figure 2).
    3. It’s great that the roofs of the office (and the cafe sections) have blocked the issue of super jumping onto them. But why kill triggers? Why not simply use the player clip tool texture?
    4. As mentioned before, I really like the ambience you implemented. However, you could consider further improving it by making soundscapes, like an electric humming sound (especially in areas where lights are close to the player, such as the hallways).
    5. Perhaps add more to the outside of the building itself? It just seems bland on the outside (ie. Windows, lights on the walls, etc).

    It’s on the server, the suggestions above would be nice but not a necessity.

    Small update

    • Removed the wooden platforms, replaced with simple walkway.

    • Increased width of stairway leading to ballspawn (was too small and clustered).

    • Brought back playerclips to the roofs (kill triggers were added by dissident)

    • Fixed cubemaps

    • Updated soundscapes

    • Added some windows to the outside of the building

    • Other very minor fixes
