[UPDATE]Abandon Factory V3



  • In response to a lot of player complaints surrounding the map’s optimization, I decided to help fix and improve the map a little bit.

    Map originally made by Ethosaur

    OPT and past fixed versions made by Pufulet

    • Fixed cubemaps (pink and black reflections should be gone)

    • Removed rain and thunder particles and effects (massive fps hog)

    • Disabled all real time shadows

    • Optimization adjustments

    • Interior explosives are damage filtered to prevent griefing

    • Adjusted and tweaked soundscapes

    • Map now runs entirely on HL2. Compiled on normal with advanced VRAD parameters

    • Added AI nodes and navmeshes for NextBot support

    • Adjusted Human Spawns and Redeem points

    • Changed stormy skybox to a dusk one

    • Doors no longer take physics damage. This should prevent damage from walking into doors.

    • Aesthetic changes around the map

    • Added an industrial 3D skybox to enhance the factory theme

    • Added existing craftables and future craftables (Thanks BOX for the list of future craftables)
