[ZS] Prevent other players from adding nails to already nailed props



  • Prevent other players from adding nails to a prop you have nailed.
    This would be useful in situations where you must adjust a prop position, having other players add their nails only punishes the cader.

    Nails now only act as a health indicator for whatever prop they’re nailed to (there’s probably no reason to use more than one).

    People aren’t going to learn this until there is actually a limit of 1 nail for prop to world.
    Right now, the gamemode has a limit of 3 nails.

  • Some solution needs to be made to this. It’s a real inconvenience.



  • the worth menu has also had an issue with the 12 nail box option only supplying 6 nails when you check out instead of 12.



  • Sometimes you want to move a nail without moving the prop, so 2 max would be good. This will be overridden once the prop health is displayed in the middle of the prop.
    A prop should have a limit of 2 nails to the world and 1 nail to each prop that’s nailed to it and not allow more than 1 person to nail things to the same prop in any way. Also, get rid of the “too close to another nail” thing. It’s annoying on tiny props.

    And sometimes you just want to teamkill the griefers, who keep unnailing props, by constantly adding more nails to the props, so being able to put more than one nail in props is a good thing.



  • An argument against this is the rare occasion when you need to nail a prop to another prop. I usually attach the prop to three other props in order to maximize its durability. Maybe just limit other players from adding nails to a prop that is already nailed.



  • I’ve made no mention of prop chaining, that’s fine as it is.

    The mistake is in sh_options.lua
