Muzzle Flash Bug and Fix. FAO JetBoom

    Didn’t want to hassle you via steam as I know you’re busy but yeah a small fix for you.

    for all the weapon.lua which uses a CSS model if you add

    SWEP.CSMuzzleFlashes = true 
    

    It will fix the muzzle flash so it doesn’t display in the middle of the screen and positions it correctly.

  • Let me just jump in here and say something.

    If it was a single setting to fix the muzzle flash on everything.

    Wouldn’t he have already known and added it?

    I noticed that all cs:s based weapons have their muzzle fire mislocated (Peashooter), whereas the ones that were in gmod to begin with are fine (tosser smg).

    @JetBoom:

    max will look in to the muzzles.

    I’m glad a fix was posted, but next time refer to this when reporting any bugs/fixes.

    Yeah you can manually adjust muzzle flashes for each weapon… This would be a massive pain in the arse.

    However if you are using CSS weapon models you can use the above script it will use the CSS muzzle positioning automatically.
