Small space in between whole numbered brushes

  • Hi, I’ve recently started working on a map and upon copying certain brushes, they move off the grid and snap there as if it were the grid.  Has anyone encountered this problem and arrived at a solution?
I’m using the default HL2 configuration if that helps at all.

    Edit:  See Top-Left/Bottom-Right Panels

  • What happens when using “snap to grid” (ctrl+w) with the brush selected? Looks like it’s snapping the origin instead of the bounding box.

  • That fixed it, but it still makes no sense to me.  I had the grid scaled down to its smallest unit and had an even number for the length of my brush.  It should have rested its origin on the grid anyway.

Edit:  It is fairly random too.  Only every so often does an object get copied and skewed.
