  • [header]In general[/header]

    • The entire database has been moved to a much more efficient, centralized system. Players shouldn’t notice anything themselves but it’ll make future coding and maintenance easier, especially for things like cross-game, cross-server, etc. This also is preparation for the nox API.

      • Added a Workshop addon for all content such as models, icons, custom emotes, etc. Should be faster than the traditional method.
      • Added an option to show all chat text as white (tags still change the color).
      • Increased the time required for being able to say another emote. Was previously 1 second for a different emote. Is now 3 seconds. The time required to repeat an emote you just said remains as it was, at 6 seconds total.
      • Decreased the soundlevel on emotes from 75 to 70. This reduces the sound radius and increases the falloff, although not by much. We previously had emotes reaching further than almost all game sounds.
      • Some of the new, custom emotes were excessively loud (to the point where there was screeching) and had their volume reduced.
      • The default chat font has been changed (again) to “nice” because the old default looked too comical.
      • /admin should properly send messages to admins in other servers now.
      • Admins will be notified of all new suspensions regardless of what server they’re in.
      • Added /adminreply. Moderators and above can use this to reply to the last non-admin that sent an /admin message.
      • Added /adminpm <steamid>. Moderators and above can use this to PM any person in any server.
      • Fixed the chatbox y position being off a little until you open it for the first time.
      • Fixed EFT total games played not counting towards the amount of games needed for Elder Member.

      • Fixed CUtlLinkedList overflow! (exhausted index range) (65535) crash.

      [header]Zombie Survival[/header]

      • Committing suicide when a zombie hasn’t hit you in a while will now award the kill to the nearest zombie.
      • Improved animations of Zombie Legs / Fast Zombie Legs classes.
      • Zombie Legs and Fast Zombie Legs will kick with their left legs by pressing left click and kick with their right legs by pressing right click. There’s no difference between the two and this is only cosmetic.
      • Added setendslomo input and endslomo keyvalue to logic_winlose. 0 for not having the end round slomo, 1 for having it. 1 is default.
      • Added setendcamera input and endcamera keyvalue to logic_winlose. 0 for not having the end round camera, 1 for having it. 1 is default.
      • Added setwinmusic input and winmusic keyvalue to logic_winlose. Allows you to point to a sound file to play instead of the default winning music. Use “default” to clear it. Use “none” to disable music.
      • Added setlosemusic input and losemusic keyvalue to logic_winlose. Allows you to point to a sound file to play instead of the default losing music. Use “default” to clear it. Use “none” to disable music.
      • The volunteer list for becoming a zombie is now calculated on the server and sent to clients if it changes. Previously it was calculated on the client which was not a good solution because of PVS. The list should now always be accurate.
      • You can now change your preference for always being a volunteer without having to rejoin the game.
      • Fixed players being able to continue packing up an item if another player came and claimed ownership of it during the process.
      • Fixed a rare bug where a human would have full model rotation (being able to look up and have their model tilted to the floor).
      • Fixed a bug where breaking a wooden prop with a melee weapon would not log the breakage.
      • Fixed poison eye / confusion effect lingering after death or respawn.
      • Fixed picking a class while a crow killing you.
      • Fixed being able to use trigger_zombieclass brushes while a crow to spawn as a zombie.
      • Fixed being able to trick the anti skycade system by making one that you don’t have to jump on to.
      • Fixed props sometimes staying frozen if the base prop was nailed to the world.
      • Fixed prediction error when carrying props causing screen jerking.

      • When time is slowed down (due to being close to a goal with the ball, etc.) all sounds will also be slowed down.

  • I would freak the fuck out every time I saw my name, often running around to no avail.  This update makes me happy,because I’m more likely to play objective maps stress free.



  • Will the “IsNoxSupporter” status be included in the nox api and future public gamemode updates?
