[RELEASE] zm_surrounded_opt_v2



  • I did not create this map, I just made it more suitable for zs.

    New Features

    • Bottom floor has 3 entrances

    • Top floor has 2 open windows

    • Lots of optimization using area_portals (map already was optimized with func_details)

    • Ammo scattered

    • Zombies spawn in all 4 corners of the map which are covered in bushes

    • Upstairs stays locked until the end of wave 2

    • Improved lighting

    • Last 30 seconds of wave 6 the shed will open and allow zombies to turn into nightmare which will spawn on the roof by going inside and touching the green sprite

    • Most props are now prop_physics

    Changelog

    • Map now uses a skybox which I created using env_skypaint

    • At the start of wave 2 the shed will open and allow zombies to transform into fresh dead which will be teleported on the roof

    • The sound notification for all the special events been replaced with a zombie groan that players cannot do (I think)

    • Upstairs will open at the end of wave 2 like normal

    • At the start of wave 1,3,4,5 a room with no window will open which could contain a weapon, props or craftables.

    • At the last 45-35 seconds of wave 6 the transformer will turn all zombies into nightmare instead of the 15 seconds.

    • Added barricades on the 2 windows on the top floor.



  • Great update. The zombie spawn was too close to the front door.
